Excellent book for gaining understanding of muscles and their relationship to joints and skeletal structure. A great lesson in the mechanics of skeletal movement.



Human Anatomy for Artists: The Elements of Human Form by Eliot Goldfinger.
A fantastic book for artists, bodybuilders, and physicial therapists as well as personal trainers. Excellent representation of origins and insertions. 'Muscle under skin pictures' are compared very well to anatomical drawings. Very helpful if you are trying to develop a particular muscle to sculpt the body.



The Anatomy Coloring Book Second Edition by Wynn Kapit, Lawrence M. Elson (Contributor). Learn while you use coloring pencils to color-code illustrations. Good, concise line art drawings help you understand anatomy in concise and well-organized plates.

The Physiology Coloring Book is also a great addition to your library. Describes motor units, respiratory volumes, cell transport, oxidative phosphorylation, anaerobic glycolysis, and much more.
