Range of Motion
The amount of degrees of motion permitted at a joint between one segment of the body and another. Excessive range of motion can cause injury. Excessive range of motion can also be hereditary or can be the result of injury.
Repetition
The lifting and lowering of a weight using a dumbell, barbell or exercise machine. Also called a rep. A quantity of reps makes up a set.Repetition Max (RM)
The amount of weight a person can lift at maximum. One Repetition Max is the maximum amount of weight a person can lift one time.
