Aerobic
A process involving continuous activity that does not
exceed the body's ability to bring required oxygen to
working muscle cells. Compare to anaerobic.
Anaerobic
A process involving intense activity that after a short
period of time exceeds the body's ability to bring
required oxygen to working muscle cells and causes a
quick exhaustion. Compare to aerobic.
Antioxidants include vitamins A and C which help prevent oxygen
from combining with chemicals in the body that form free
radicals, which can cause chromosomal damage.
